Run Lantana
Join the Lantana Community in hosting Run Lantana 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk to be hosted Saturday – September 24th @ 8:30am. The scenic course will wind through the neighborhoods and trails throughout the community.

The Children’s Advocacy Center for Denton County provides justice and healing for severely abused children from Denton County and the surrounding area. CACDC works daily with law enforcement, Child Protective Services, District Attorney’s Office, medical professionals, and in house staff on the investigation, prosecution, and treatment of severe child abuse. Since the Center has been in existence, the agency has helped increased the number of convictions against adults who were suspected of sexually abusing children from 8 in 1996 to 78 in 2010. CACDC provided over 9,000 free counseling services to abused children and non-offending family members in 2010. www.cacdc.org
